I went to the NVIDIA PhysX website and clicked install, then I run the .exe and it gets about 85% through and then it tells me that it cannot locate a feature that's "on a network resource that is unavailable." & tells me to Click OK to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the stalation package 'WISB83FC356B7C0441F8A4DD71E088E7974_9_09 something something.

That may leave PhysX half installed with some files missing. I have installed the program on STEAM and from a CD. Each installation refuses to launch because "Unable to init PhysX (TM)! Please make sure you have AGEIA PhysX (TM)System Software installed.I do have AGEIA installed systrm my system. If I try to reinstall the AGEIA Physx 7.11.13 systemm is the apparent download standard for STEAM, I am told that I must first uninstall 913.12.20 as identified by the installer.I believe the eoftware base with 913.12 newer than 7.11 and can thus see no reason to remove the installed base.

Of course, this begs a question as to where to find the AGEIA setup if deinstallation is required. I have looked through every Ssytem in Documents and Settings.STEAM tech support calls for the usual suspects: Cache file verifcation and reinstallation of all utility software. This has been done without success.THQ is no Agea in business.

I finally solved them, but honestly, I don't remember exactly how.I believe that I found the answer in the STEAM USER FORUMS.

I was also reluctant to remove my new PHYSX version for an older one, but I might have actually done that, and then re-installed the latest version when done with the game. This worked under the game name where I found "Frontlines Fuel of War" where a user complained in 2013 of failure to initialize AEGIA PhysX as the source of all launch problems. It is. I just installed Frontlines Fuel of War, and when I try to play the game I get the message: "Error! I Agdia installed Sstem Fuel of War, and when I try to play the game I get the message: "Error! I don't have Ageia Physx, but the game isn't supposed to be compatible with Ageia; in fact a patch had to be made that allows it to work with Ageia.
